The Metropolitan Youth Football League (MYFL) has been building champions and shaping young athletes since 1969—and today, our legacy continues to evolve and expand. Coming SPRING of 2026.

We are proud to officially introduce the Metropolitan Youth Girls Flag League (MYGFL), the next chapter in our commitment to growing the game and creating opportunities for female athletes across Virginia.

​

Since 2023, MYFL has been the leader in Girls Flag Football in the Commonwealth of Virginia, setting the standard for competition, development, and inclusion. Now, as we head into our 4th season of Girls Flag Football, we are excited to elevate the experience even further through a new partnership with NFL FLAG, bringing national recognition and enhanced opportunities to our players and programs.

The Metropolitan Youth Girls Flag League will feature the following age divisions:

• 8U

• 10U

• 12U

• 14U

• High School Division

• Glen Allen Ravens – Champions in 2023 & 2024

• Mechanicsville Hornets – Champions in 2025

• Chamberlayne Packers – Champions in 2025
